Update Plugins for Sony Vegas Pro 8.0


Thank you for purchasing one (or more) VASST Vegas Script Plug-ins. Recently, Sony upgraded Vegas software to version 8. Because Vegas Pro 8 uses .NET 3.0, it was necessary for VASST to update all of our script plug-ins. This update is FREE and it should be a seamless process for you. If you require the Vegas Pro 8.0 version of any of our software products, simply download the latest trial for that product version from our web site and install it over the version you already have. It will remove the existing version, install the Vegas Pro 8.0 version, and recognize your license key and be a fully licensed product.

This new version should be backward compatible with Vegas 7 & 6 in case you are still running an older version of Vegas.

If your existing license key doesn’t work with the Vegas Pro 8.0 version, you may have an older version of or product which was not compatible with Vegas 7. Simply follow the instructions below to obtain a new license key that is compatible with Vegas 7 & Vegas Pro 8.0. This is also a FREE process.

Updating from Vegas 6 or lower to Vegas 7 or higher:


First, you must be signed in with the email address that you used for your software purchase(s). Then:

  1. Go to the update page. On that page you will see all the previous products that you have purchased and that qualify for a free update.
  2. Click on the button that says "Get Updated Plugins"
  3. All your previously purchased, qualified products will be added to a cart and you will automatically check out. All of this happens in the background. No purchase is necessary.
  4. You will be redirected to the Order Detail page, showing you all your updated products with their updated registration codes. You may download the new products from the link on the Order Detail page.
  5. You will also receive an email detailing the order. It also has download links and new registration codes.
  6. For each product in your order, you must download the new product and register the product with the new registration codes. This will ensure that your plugins will work properly in the latest version of Vegas Pro.
